We are preparing for the arrival of Tyler is true! We are thanksful to our good friend Nicolette, Cameron, Patricia and Etty who are hosting our baby shower.

What we have so far is what Bryan's parent got us which is the travel system stroller and car seat which came in my favorite and fashionable colors red & black.
We haven't done any shopping, yet. December is a very hected month not only for us but I am sure for ALL of us, right?

Although we feel that time is flying and Tyler will come pretty soon. We have 10 more weeks and we will finally meet our little Tyler. We can't wait for that moment.
In the other hand one of my good friends who already has two kids, told me...you are anxious now to meet him, etc, etc...but sometimes you want your baby with a manual switch of ON/OFF...and I am sure that is at somepoint true.

We hope to see all of you at Tyler's bb shower:)

Getting ready for Tyler's Arrival

Tyler's baby shower was celebrated on Saturday January 17th. 2009. We like to thank all of those who helped us make it possible. Cameron for taking care of emails, invtations, decoration, Nicolette for bringing all the LWL crew together, Etty for making food and Patricia for making the wonderful cake. Also Leticia & Vilma who came really early to help in everyway possible.
Also Fred for filming our bb shower, Brigitte for making more food, Trish Thackston & Nancy Alert for taking care of the games. And to all of those who were there in that afternoon full of fun & joy. We missed seen some of you but we know you were there in spirit:)
We are very excited time is running fast and every week goes so fast. We can't believe we have 4 more weeks approx. everything will be over...and we will finally meet our little Tyler. Can you believe it!?
Will Tyler look like Bryan but with my personality? will he like numbers or arts? so many questions and a whole new experience that we are about to begin:)

Kicks at about 28-30 weeks

What can we say now.... If Bryan could feel Tyler as much as I do; he would understand all about how his Tyler is so active. Little Tyler is being active ever since he started kicking. He kicks everyday, almost every hour. One night he had me two hours looking at the ceiling fan for 2 hours without being able to sleep because his kicks wouldn't let me sleep....RRRRR

Another day he started to kick like there was earthquake inside my womb, it was very weird. So I decided to talk to him and tell him...calm down, what is going on...and he did it. So at least he is listening now... I hope he does it when he turns 15 or 20 years old ...you know...

One night Bryan & I went to a concert at the Kennedy Center. My friend Juan Cayrampoma who was performing with his group Raymy invited us to his concert and also Juan mentioned to us, there were going to be Peruvian dances and more...so I thought ok let's start introducing Tyler to Peruvian rhythm, dances and more...so there was a time when a Peruvian typical instrument called "cajon" which is a wooden box was played. The cajon is played with both hands like if it was a drumb. I personally loved to hear "cajon" rhythm. The minute the guy started to play the cajon Tyler started kicking almost at the rhythm of the cajon... funny and crazy as it sounds that is how I felt it. Of course I looked at Bryan and said your kid is crazy!!!

My youngest brother Ellyot is a singer, a writer and a dancer (among other things...). I have being listening to all kinds of music for ever, dancing salsa in the kitchen cause' Bryan wouldn't go to Rumba Cafe or any other salsa place...so you can imagine Tyler must have some arts in his veins and the science side from Bryan, right? We will have to see:)
