St Louis Xmas Trip

We all found time to do something fun and relaxing....

Bryan completely exhausted after a day full of shopping and the dogs having fun all over him...
We wondered where is the owner of these dogs???

Bryan & Evelyn probably talking about Tyler and how differently we have been raised.
Can you find the plush we got for Tyler?

Evelyn stiched and stiched so she could finish the phrame for Tyler's bedroom
Bryan's family spent MANY years playing handbells at their church in Virginia. Did you notice Henry in the corner tapping to the beat? He LOVES anything related to music.
Grandpa' gave it a shot at playing golf with the Wii - You can see how serious he is taking it:)
And how good he is at it.
A Brother-In Law boxing match between Bryan & Sam

December 25th began with breakfast and little Henry wanting to opening gifts.

To our surprise Tyler also received his 1st christmas gifts. Thks to grandpa Fred and grandma Elaine Brooks. Tyler got his 1st bank, 1st blanket, a plush pug dog, rattles and much more:)

Our brother-in-law Sam cooked us a traditional English Christmas dinner complete with creamed parsnips, bacon-wrapped prunes, brussel sprouts with roasted chestnuts, bread pudding, figgy pudding, and raspberry trifle. Mothie (grandma) cooked the turkey and dressing, Bryan's mom cooked ham and dinner rolls, and his sis Becky made a chocolate pecan pie.

This year Evelyn & Bryan celebrated Christmas American Style which is on the 25th at around 5pm. Unlike in Peru where dinner is at midnight of the 25th. And learning a bit of how Xmas is celebrated in England.
Next year it will hopefully be a Peruvian style christmas. We have tried to kept it as one year American style and one year Peruvian style;)

Our Christmas dinner began by openning our Christmas crackers which is an English tradition. You and the person next to you each pull an end and whoever wins the middle part gets to keep the prize inside. There is also a paper crown and a joke included. All this new Christmas tradition was brought to you by the english guy Sam Maindonald, who is wearing that lovely beard.
In the picture we are showing off our lovely crowns!
